The Hall of Mountaineering Excellence, of the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum, celebrates the achievements of American mountaineers on and off the mountain. Designing trophies for the mountaineering inductees conjures thoughts of mountain characteristics – solid, impervious, unadorned yet rich with variable surface texture. And therefore… Kiitellä took the new AMM logo into three dimensions with a steel mountain trophy. The inductee names stand proud on the front of the mountain, hand-stamped on pewter in bold letters, and riveted below the framed aluminum logo plate.
