Project Description
The American Alpine Club asked Kiitellä to design the first 10-Year recognition award to be given to an AAC employee. Kiitellä created a polished stainless steel “book” with the organization’s logo jet cut through the cover and hand-stamped recipient name on the inside. The thick steel plates feel substantial in the honored employee’s hand, yet it is small enough to pack up and transport (in its little black leather pouch) for the next venture.
