Project Description
As a lover of road riding, and an award fabricator, I really—really—wanted to land the Colorado Classic, the premier professional women’s cycling race in North America, hosted by the cities of Steamboat, Avon, Golden and Denver.
My process: Inspired by the Avon brand and the biker “swoosh,” I ended up creating gold, silver and bronze medallions with the silver biker swoosh riveted to the surface of each, which gave added body and dimension. Neck ribbon: bike chain, of course!
