Last night in Ridgway, Indivisible District 3 Colorado held a Cory Gardner Town Hall… with (or without) the senator. Since he did not show, Kiitellä’s custom-made recognition plaque, a sculptural interpretation of the Colorado license plate, was presented to his substitute — a chicken. From the D3 website: “It is April Recess, a time when elected officials return home so they can meet with their constituents and take care of local business. We plan to hold this Town Hall, with or without Cory Gardner, in an effort to continue building community and respectfully demonstrate our commitment to our region and this country. Our hope is that Senator Gardner will attend and engage with his constituents.”
