A few oldies! Mountainfilm in Telluride is where and when Issenberg’s love for custom award making was born�some time in the 90s… long before we called it “Kiitell�.” The festival director requested awards�without no direction given�just total faith. Issenberg’s love for mountains, photography, metalwork and film merged and so did a new life path. In 2005, the festival theme was Tibet. Steel prayer flags felt like a fun idea: five flags, each one hinging independently on the vertical strip. Hand-stamped and cast bronze tags reading “TELLURIDE MOUNTAINFILM 2005” are riveted on.
